We offer cross country and Downhill Mountain Bikes, all safety gear and an unmatched knowledge of trails in the National park forests in the greater Chiang Mai area. What is included:
Transportation: Our 4×4 trucks get you to the top of even the remotest summits. With great elevation advantage we gear up and venture into the back country on the mountain trails of Northern Thailand.
Guides: All trips are led by seasoned guides and instructors. all speak English, are knowledgeable bike mechanics, have extensive mountain biking experience and are at home with the local trail system. Guides are always equipped with tools, spare bike parts, 1st aid kit and communication to base. These are the best biking buddies you can have when you need one.
Bike Equipment: We provide Giant Hard Trails suitable for novices Trek/GT/Merida Hard Trail Bikes with DISC Breaks are provided for advance XC riders for optimum uphill performance.
Lunch Included: Chiang Mai Mountain Biking provides drinking water on the ride. Lunch is provided and takes places at various (approved) restaurants at the trails end. Vegetarian meals are available. Lunch never tasted so good, which is one of the advantages riding in Thailand.
Safety-gear-provided: Chiang Mai Mountain Biking provides all safety gear, such as knee pads, elbow pads, helmets, gloves and bike shirts for all rides and chest/back protectors for advance trails.
What to wear: Shoes, shorts and T-Shirt, if you only have sandals we will provide shoes for you.
What to bring: Bring your camera, a small plastic bag for your valuables and a Daypack, (If you don’t have a Daypack we will provide one for you)
What is not included:
Extra$ (only due for some rides) National Park Entrance fee (currently 100 Baht) is collected at the morning of the ride, if applicable.
Trip# 1 The Eagles Route: This is a great Intro of Off Road Mountain Biking. The descent through Doi Suthep National Park presents us with great view of the Mae Ping Valley below and makes this one of the most scenic and poplar Rides. Lunch at Lake Huay Teng Thao completes this day and may tempt you to take a well deserved dip. * On this ride Beginners can expect personal instructions in basic mountain biking skills. When:

Trip: Doi Pui to Huay Tung Thao Lake
Location: Suthep Mountain 5400 feet elevation, above Chiang Mai
Biking Time: approx.. 4 hrs., 25 km (off road)
Elevation change: from 500 feet (1600m) to 1200 feet
Riding Conditions: 90 % downhill, rarely used dirt road winding around the mountain through the National Park
Flora: pine forest, jungle, plantations
Levels: motivated beginner
Personal fitness: okay
