Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum, Where to learn to make ceramic ware. In 1954 Mr. E (Chin Simyu) discovered the kaolinite deposits located in the village of Pangka in the Jae-Hom district of Lampang province in Thailand . Utilizing these resources Mr. E established the first ceramic factory in Lampang province.
The famous chicken bowl produced by this factory. Was a favorite in homes all over the Kingdom of Thailand . Dhanababesakul Crockery was the first factory of Dhanabadee Ceramic Group established in 1965 by Mr. E (Chin Simyu) and still produces the original Chicken bowl and other ceramic wares utilizing the same methods as in ancient times. All product s are hand made from the preparation of the raw materials to the setting and firing in the “Dragon kiln”. The dragon kiln at Dhanabadesakul Crockery is the oldest kiln in Lampang Province.

Dhanabadee Ceremic Museum is located about 350 meters away from Phaholyothin Highway, to get there the tourist can take Songtaew from any where from Lampang or driving your own car, motorbike or even bicycle. The great time to visit the museum around 09:00 Am.
